Blackened Cask Strength Batch 119 San Diego Barrel Boys Private Selection

Blackened Cask Strength Batch 119 is a limited-edition private selection chosen by the San Diego Barrel Boys, the local whiskey club known for its exclusive barrel picks, and available at Chips Liquor. Blackened is the American whiskey created by Metallica with the late master distiller Dave Pickerell, a blend of bourbons and ryes finished in black brandy casks while being blasted with the band's music in a process called Black Noise sonic enhancement.

This cask-strength batch skips the usual dilution, delivering Blackened's signature caramel, honey, dried fruit, and brandy-cask spice at full intensity with a long, warming finish. It is a bottle for sipping neat with a splash of water, and a must for Metallica fans and San Diego whiskey collectors alike. Once this 750 ml pick is gone, it is gone.
